Taner is a cultural strategist, editor, and entrepreneur working at the intersection of music, publishing, and creative economy. With over 15 years of experience in the cultural and creative industries, he has led content-driven, community-oriented and artist-centered initiatives across media, merchandise, and communication.
Taner is the Co-Founder and CEO of Mörç Studio, a creative studio designing interaction models between artists and fans through limited-edition merchandise collections and participatory experiences. With a focus on values-based branding and cultural storytelling, Mörç Studio supports artists in developing alternative income models while creating space for artistic identity, fan connection, and social impact. The studio has collaborated with leading musicians such as Hey! Douglas, Melike Şahin, Kalben, She Past Away, My Analog Journal, and Islandman, as well as cultural institutions and brands.
Prior to founding Mörç, Taner served as Editor-in-Chief for Arts & Culture at Aposto, where he developed editorial strategies, launched new publishing formats, and managed content teams in different publications. His background also includes extensive experience in music journalism and editorial curation, working with publications such as Rave Mag, T24, Milliyet Sanat, Based Istanbul, BirGün, and theMagger. He has curated interviews, essays, and playlists on music, design, and popular culture with a focus on storytelling and audience development.
Taner’s career began in strategic communications, where he led campaigns for clients like Nike, Zorlu PSM, and Brand Week Istanbul. His expertise spans brand storytelling, artist relations, content strategy, community building, and creative direction.
His current work focuses on building resilient ecosystems for artists, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations, and exploring the future of fan culture through formats that blend merchandise, experience, and meaning.
