HERIFORGE – Country Analyses and Community Engagement Strategy

Client: Koç University KARMA Lab (Project Funder: the European Union)

HERIFORGE is designed to deliver five key outputs critical to the establishment of the innovation ecosystem: a report containing recommendations on strategic impact, the operationalisation of the HERIFORGE Platform Network, the development of XR-enabled prototypes and services, the publication of good practice guides for innovation ecosystems, and a data orchestration platform.

Istanbul to Host East Satellite BEYOND on 4–6 May 2026!

East Satellite BEYOND event, titled “Between Neighbors: Crossing Voices, Crossing Borders” is organised by Culture Unleashed and Space-Time Works AB in partnership with İKSV, Postane, and Roof, in collaboration with Culture Action Europe, powered by Alliance for Socially Engaged Arts, and co-funded by the European Union.

CU continues its work on cultural policies and the creative economy at a European scale, and is enthusiastic about developing new collaborations in this field.

Culture Unleashed welcomes Nazlı Cangönül and Taner Turna as new associates.

Nazlı, a transdisciplinary service designer and facilitator, brings over a decade of experience in human-centered design and systems thinking to co-create transformative learning journeys. Taner, a cultural strategist and entrepreneur, explores the future of fan culture by building alternative models that bridge music, media, and storytelling. Their vision and energy add new perspectives to Culture Unleashed.

Strategic Planning for Culture seminar

On August 16, 2024, Culture Unleashed hosted the "Strategic Planning for Culture" seminar as part of Marmara Municipalities Union's Perspectives for Strategic Plan programme. Led by Emre Erbirer, Gökçe Dervişoğlu Okandan, and Mustafa Gül, the session provided valuable insights into cultural policies, cultural planning, best practices and cases for local governments.
